Direct booking in three steps.
1. Choose dates and number of guests
The local calendar shows direct blocks and, when configured, Booking.com iCal blocks.
2. A final fresh check is performed
Immediately before saving a request, the plugin tries to fetch the latest Booking.com calendar. If a fresh check cannot be completed reliably, the request is not accepted on stale data.
3. The dates are held locally
A received request blocks the dates in the local calendar while the host confirms the details, reducing the chance of two direct requests overlapping.
Choose available dates
Unavailable dates are marked in red. The calendar combines direct reservations with Booking.com iCal availability.

Important iCal limitation
iCal greatly reduces double-booking risk but is not a real-time channel manager. Booking.com controls how often it re-imports the outgoing feed. True real-time inventory sync requires a Connectivity API or channel manager.
